Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation. Elective bariatric surgery, specialty plastics procedures requiring frequent assessment of surgical skin grafts/flaps, chronic wound management that may require debridement and frequent wound care, post-op cosmetic surgeries, burn wound management, occasional post-op gynecologic surgeries, and med/surg overflow. Patient population is primarily older adult to geriatric, with occasional adolescents and younger adults. Unit uses bariatric graded lifts (Hoyer and sit-to-stand). RNs on this unit develop skills in wound management, specialty dressing care, leeching, surgical drain management, VACs, specialty beds, capnography, post-surgical care, NG tube placement, ostomy care, TPN, and central lines.
Shift & Scheduling: Will work every other weekend. No call required.
