Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $3020 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Skills/Experience:
Telemetry background required (read tele).

Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only two attempts allowed; updated every 3 years thereafter.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only two attempts allowed.

Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements:
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off
