Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $3100 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred within the last 24 months (2 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience.
• Experience on a fast-paced medical-surgical unit is required.
• Experience with chest tubes; drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone; lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients; tracheostomies/laryngectomies; complex wounds; and central-line care, maintenance, and blood draws is required.
• Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
• Must have telemetry experience.

• You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.

Unit Details:

• The adult surgical unit cares primarily for trauma patients and acute care surgical patients, including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries resulting from trauma, hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy.
• Two negative-pressure rooms can serve the COVID population.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No call.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
