Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Heparin drip titration. RNs are expected to attempt IV starts and utilize unit resources if unsuccessful.
Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. General med patients with various diagnoses. Patients may have oxygen requirements up to 6L NC and stable BiPAP/CPAP at night or as needed. Telemetry patients are monitored remotely via the house-wide telemetry department; unit equipment is Phillips. Hospitalist/intensivist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy are in house 24/7. Inpatient phlebotomy team is used for blood draws.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend for nights (Fri/Sat). Holiday rotation per policy. Call is not required. Travelers may collaborate with unit leadership for additional scheduling preferences.
Floating Requirements: Travel RNs are first to float to other units as needed.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
