Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 2 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock and no current placement allowed at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock.

Additional Details:

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

• Must have telemetry experience. Must have surgical experience.

• Must have experience caring for patients after vascular, thoracic, colorectal and general surgery.

  • • Required Experience:
  • -Chest tubes
  • -Tubes
  • -Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
  • -Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
  • -Trachs/Laryngectomies
  • -Complex wounds
  • -Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

Unit/Facility Details: RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1

Shift & Scheduling: Nights or D/N Rotate Available.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required

Proof of identification required for submission
