Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - 1-2 years experience preferred. - Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required.

Required Credentials: - Must pass the Relias EKG exam. - RNs only - clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Special Requests: - No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius.

Unit Details: - Will be primary care at times and will care for trach patients. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Patient population includes acute care patients with infection, renal, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, ortho, bariatric, pre-transplant, observation, psychology, long stay, and COVID diagnoses. - Patients may stay on the unit for only a few hours to a day or be considered long stay if no beds are available, especially during high census periods. High patient turnover means working with many patients in one shift. The unit receives a wide variety of patient conditions from the ED. Nurses receive additional required training to care for a variety of patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Every other weekend required. - No call. - No more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract.

Floating Requirements: - Will float within service line.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off
