Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is required.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with BiPAP, orthopedic surgery, telemetry, cardiac drips (non-titrating), and dialysis patients. Preferred Skills/Experience: Post-cardiac cath care experience preferred. Unit Details: Adult patient population. Common diagnoses/treatments include post-op joint replacement, ACS, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, GI, and renal failure. Uses Baxter pumps, Omnicell, and Spacelabs. Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends. No call. Floating Requirements: This department is a combined MS/PCU unit and requires all staff to float between two floors.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
