Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 36 months between Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Northern Light

Additional Details:
Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.
Required Skills/Experience: Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), IVABX, Heparin gtts; are not required to reading and interpret cardiac strips but it is preferable.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge RN experience.
Types of Patients on Unit: Total Joints (knees, hips etc), General MS, Appendicitis, colectomies, small bowel, Urology (turp, cysto), CHF, PNA, Sepsis, DM. Patient’s with addictions in addition to other medical issues

Floating Requirements: May float to ICU for Med Surg level patients; May float to ED to task/as helping hands.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission
