Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• 24 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Unit / Facility Details: Parking Cost: $2/day at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Stroger and JTDC

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month
Holiday Requirements: No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Floating Requirements: Cook is a Mandatory Float Facility; all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
