Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - Wide range of primarily medical diagnoses including GI bleeds, sepsis, cellulitis, CHF, COVID, comfort measures, osteomyelitis, falls, DVT, and pulmonary embolisms; patients may leave for surgery or procedures and return to the unit. - Heparin is the only titratable drip. - Patients may have oxygen up to 6L nasal cannula and stable BiPAP/CPAP at night or PRN. - Remote telemetry is monitored by the house-wide telemetry department; unit equipment is primarily Phillips. - RNs are expected to attempt IV starts and use unit resources if unsuccessful; inpatient phlebotomy is used for blood draws.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend; night shift weekend is Friday/Saturday. - Holidays rotated. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Travel RNs are first to float as needed. - Will float to other med/surg-like units. - No ICU floating and no chemo patients.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
