Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
Preferred Skills/Experience: Bariatric experience is preferred
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology
Equipment Used on Unit: Specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, prevena vacs; Baxter IV Pumps
Unit/Facility Details: We have an Ultrasound IV Team who work 7am to 10pm, We do not have issues usually find a nurse to help with IVs as needed.
This is a 37 bed unit with a high churn to accommodate our surgical population.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required
Floating Requirements: Float required to all inpatient units
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
