Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Heparin, Neurological/Psychiatric, Oncology, Orthopedics, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Cardiovascular, Post Angiogram, Post MI, Endocrine /Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Plastics, Surgical drains, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience
  • MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Accessing/Managing Ports, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Monitoring Chemotherapy, Ortho trauma, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submittal

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required, Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks

Floating Requirements: May float to other MS/Tele but will not be asked to float outside their acuity or specialty

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission
