Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• BSN completion preferred

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Use of Rapid Response Teams, PCA, Interpretation of ABGs, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery. Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, PCA*.

Unit/Facility Details: Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. 07/23/24 May screen strong MS RN candidates with 1.5 to < 2 years MS exp, who acquire that 1.5+ yrs in a steady flow (not a cumulative total across different jobs). Number of Beds: 32.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Please ensure all RTO is for the full 13 weeks for each submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends Required: Every Third Weekend

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
