Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Required Credentials: Cert: ACLS and PALS are required, however, they have 60 days to receive ACLS and 90 days to receive PALS after start date. Required Education: Associates or bachelor’s in nursing
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Variable. Call Requirements: As per Contract.
Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs.
Unit Details: Number of Beds: 23
Equipment Used on Unit: Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo Monitors, GE Telemetry Monitoring system.
Types of Patients on Unit: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Med/Surg, Telemetry
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD, CHF, Pre/Post Cath Lab, Ortho SX, Gen SX, Acute Resp Failure (Adult & Pediatrics).
