Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health.

Additional Details:

If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Unit Details: Provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments and notes all changes in physician orders. Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed and initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Interacts with patients and families in sharing the care plan while in the hospital and at discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures, makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel, and delegates tasks to support staff.
