Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 1-2+ years of experience.
Unit Details: - Geriatric and adult patient population; typically only 3-4 pediatric patients per year. - Unit secretary/monitor tech stationed at the Med-Surg nurses’ station. - Equipment includes Welch Allyn vital machines, Masimo at bedside in every room, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, and ARJO lift.
Shift & Scheduling: - Rotate every other weekend unless there is a need and staff will be scheduled more than every other weekend. - Depending on census, staff may be placed on call.
Floating Requirements: - Float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER (task assignments for OB and ER); will take low-level Med-Surg overflow patients in ICU with ratio of 1:3.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
