Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: IV starts required. Foley insert/management. Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Level I trauma experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Must pass Relias EKG exam. RNs who obtained their RN degree outside the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact licensure require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Special Requests: No local candidates accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility.
Unit Details: Adult patient population with general neurological and neuromuscular disorders, MS, ALS, GBS, stroke, epilepsy, infections, and tumors. Procedures/unit details include LPs, lumbar drains, Foley care, IV starts, G-tubes, and tracheostomies. Bladder ultrasound.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Maximum 7 days RTO per assignment.
Floating Requirements: Float within service line, including neurosurgery or SDU.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
