Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: - Need to have experience with the same type of hospital acuity; no CAH. - Need experience at a larger organization with high acuity, high turnover, and fast pace.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Rotate with permanent staff.
Floating Requirements: - Float to all acute care and cardio to take care of medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds.
Special Requests: - Patient population includes diabetic, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis, overflow post-surgical patients, amputations, debridements, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, and psych; future hospice is not live yet. - Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin are commonly used. - Patients are monitored on a different unit; nurses are not required to read strips. - Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment and will take one only if needed. - CPAP; BiPAP at night only.
3 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
