Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: - Experience working in larger hospital (250 beds minimum), Level 2 or higher trauma center.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Travel experience within the last year preferred.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Candidates living within 60 miles are not accepted as travelers; candidates living 61-80 miles are considered local. - If previously worked with Sanford Health, the end date must be 6 months prior to submission date. - Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: - General MS patients. - Uses AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry. - Nurse to patient ratio: 5:1 day shift and 6:1 night shift.
Shift & Scheduling: - 12-hour day/night rotate; every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: - Home unit 2W but can float to any Med/Surg unit on any campus in Fargo as needed.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
