Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <51 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:
Previous Employment Requirements: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 36 months progressive care, stepdown or med surg / medical surgical
Preferred Skills/Experience: Stepdown experience Critical care experience Neurology care experience Oncology care experience
Unit/Facility Details: Types of patients: All types involved with med surg & stepdown
Special Requests: Holiday rotation Holiday update: unless the Unit is close, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: Will float between Med Surg & Stepdown
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
