Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with precepting and/or charge responsibilities is highly preferred, as travelers may be relied upon as informal leaders and clinical resources on the unit.
Required Credentials: Must pass an ECG Exam on day 2 - study guide available and study session offered by clinical team the week prior to start.
Special Requests: All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.
Shift & Scheduling:
Floating Requirements: To other med-surg units - first to float.
Other Requirements: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
