Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • RNs required to titrate drips: Insulin, Heparin, Levophed, set rate: Amiodarone
  • Nurses read strips each shift

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Falls, CHF, bowel obstruction, A-fib., Swingbed, and many more

Unit Details: 20 beds

Special Requests: Block scheduling available depending on staffing needs

Shift & Scheduling: Days/Nights Rotate or straight Nights; every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation

Floating Requirements: Float to ER to help, not the first to float depending on staffing that day, but flexibility appreciated

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
