Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills/experience: Telemetry - remote monitoring, use of rapid response teams. - Cardiovascular case skills/experience: Post angiogram, post MI. - Endocrine/metabolic case skills/experience: IV insulin protocols. - Gastrointestinal case skills/experience: Colostomy care, feeding tube care and management. - Genitourinary/renal case skills/experience: Pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure. - IV therapy/phlebotomy skills/experience: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs. - Medication skills/experience: Heparin, insulin, PCA. - Neurological/psychiatric case skills/experience: CVA, pre/post neuro surgery. - Ortho trauma experience preferred. - Surgical drain experience preferred. - Respiratory case skills/experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank. - Professional knowledge and skills: Isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac. - Previous charge experience preferred. Teaching Hospital and Community Hospital

Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: - Will work every other weekend. - No on-call required. - Cannot contract to block scheduling, but colleagues can typically be scheduled 3 in a row. Discuss schedule requests with manager.

Floating Requirements: - Will float as needed to other med-surg and like units within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required

1 Charge/Lead reference required
