Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with NG placement, Foley placement, blood administration, and heparin and insulin drips.
Unit Details: Women’s Care MedSurg unit caring for hysterectomy, mastectomy, postpartum patients (moms only), and general medical/surgical patients. RNs are required to titrate heparin and insulin drips. Uses CPAP. Patients may have heart monitors, but RNs do not read their own strips.
Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will fill the shifts with the greatest need. 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Holidays rotate with core staff. No call.
Floating Requirements: May float to other general medical units.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
