Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Required Skills/Experience: - EKG interpretation, CPAP management, and port access. - Telemetry experience and post-percutaneous coronary intervention experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vacs, drains, post-dialysis assessment skills, central lines, and blood transfusions.
Unit Details: - Supported by clinical nurse coordinators (charge nurses), RNs, LPNs, PCTs, nurse externs, and unit clerks. - Uses GE Apex Pro telemetry boxes, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Baxter IV pumps, iMobile, Alaris PCA IV pump, Welch Allen vitals machine, and glucometer. - Procedures performed on unit include telemetry monitoring and paracentesis. - Uses GroupMe to communicate information and ask questions.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts per week.
Floating Requirements: - May float to 3 South (post-surgical med/surg) or to PCU (to staff tele overflow).
