Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Required work setting experience: Med/Surg. - Required cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills/experience: Telemetry - remote monitoring; use of rapid response teams. - Required gastrointestinal case skills/experience: Colostomy care; feeding tube care and management. - Required IV therapy/phlebotomy skills/experience: Accessing ports; blood product administration; central line blood draw; peripheral line care/management; PICC line management; starting IVs. - Required medication experience: Heparin; insulin; PCA. - Required neurological/psychiatric case skills/experience: CVA; pre/post neuro surgery; spinal cord injuries; traumatic brain injury. - Experience with surgical drains required. - Required respiratory case skills/experience: Chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac; CPAP/BiPAP; nasal cannula; non-invasive airway management; oral suctioning; oxygen face masks; portable oxygen tank; pre/post thoracic surgery; tracheostomy management. - Required professional knowledge and skills: Isolation precautions; wound care/wound vac. - Continuous bladder irrigation experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience and Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric neuro patient population. - Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation
Shift & Scheduling: - Will work every other weekend. - No call.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
