Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years; 3 years of Tele - Telemetry, post-op cath care, cardiac drips with titration, management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias - Patient population includes general med-surg, pediatrics, hemo and peritoneal dialysis, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac procedures - Common diagnosis/treatment: stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, and med-surg
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required - No call
Floating Requirements: - Float to all units except M3; helping hands in ER
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
