Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health

• 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have MedSurg, Tele, Peds experience; Wide skill set required d/t variety of patient age and dx. Will have a nursing coordinator available for assistance.
  • RNs required to titrate drips: Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, Heparin, Aminophylline, MG, K+, Albumin, blood products.
  • RNs must be able to read and interpret.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Unit and facility details: Nurse: Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 (If a patient is truly critical, the nurse will only have 1:1 or 1:2).

Shift & Scheduling: 2 of every 6 weekends minimum, holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: May be asked to help in other departments if needed. Will not be asked to work outside scope of practice or do something that is not within your knowledge base or experience.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
