Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System.

• 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System.

Our Pulmonary Unit is 36-bed telemetry unit directed towards diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders.

Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and value the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries.

This unit takes pride in the collaborative relationships with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management and pharmacy.

This specialty requires a foundation of knowledge in general medicine as well as expertise in respiratory skills.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months
