Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Technical degree required. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization, 2 attempts allowed. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Vaccine/Tdap declinations are not accepted.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Unit Details: Level 4 NICU caring for neonatal patients. Provides evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assesses patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment, performs advanced respiratory care modalities, and evaluates respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes. Educates patients and families about the health condition and available programs. Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes. Equipment: Servo N, Bunnell Jet Ventilator, 3100A Oscillator, Bubble CPAP, Optiflow.

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend commitment.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
