Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Must have min 1 year Level III or IV NICU in work history. - Must have experience with neonatal oscillating vents and be proficient. - Draeger vent experience required. - Teaching hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Avea vent experience preferred.
Special Requests: - All RTO is final and accurate; any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.
Unit Details: - Level 3 NICU assignment. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Travelers may be asked to orient students / new hires if needed. - Free Parking Part of Yale New Haven Health System - Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: - Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed. - Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and Pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so while it may vary, the expectation is that staff are prepared to support all units as needed.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
