Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Previous Employment Requirements: Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Required Skills/Experience: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions, PCA, Starting and maintaining IVs, Total Joint Replacements, Additional Skills

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years preferred. Fire Safety certification preferred. PICC line management, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Orthopedic, Neurology, Med / Surg , Stroke

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults

Unit/Facility Details: Total Staffed Beds: 233 // Acceptable ID’s - Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: No Block schedules. Supervisors within the last year are preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 shifts every other weekend. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation.

Floating Requirements: Could be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED.
