Summary

UNIT SUMMARY: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 29 bed unit, daily interdisciplinary rounds with unit medical, neuro and surgical intensivists; patient ratio of 1:2, 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends. 
 
JOB SUMMARY: Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: BSN or ADN degree; less than one year of experience; Maryland RN license; American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification.
 
**The hallmark of this innovative program is support. New nurses are provided individual and group support as they participate in classes, present cases, learn clinical skills and gain confidence in their abilities as valuable professionals**
