Summary

Join our new Medsurg Unit at Northwest Hospital! 

Our Acute Medical Care Unit is a fast-paced, dynamic environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex and acute medical conditions.

JOB SUMMARY: Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties. Maintains the standards of nursing care for all patients and implements the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital and Nursing Department.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills;
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent;
  • 1-3 years of experience;
  • Basic computer skills; Synquest; Medical terminology; Hoyer lift; Communication devices; Specialty beds; Automatic B/P cuff;
  • GNA/CNA Licensure; BLS card from AHA.
