Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1280 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Credentials: NBSTSA certification required; NCCT is not accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases highly preferred.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

Unit Details: Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN. Travelers may be expected to staff the full variety of cases that the Main OR supports.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday rotation. 1 weekend shift per 4 week schedule period. Up to 4 call shifts per 4 week schedule period.
