Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1360 per week.

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have C-section, robot, and ortho trauma experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrub technician experience preferred.
Operating room experience and/or training course preferred.

Required Credentials:
Accredited surgical technology program required.

Preferred Credentials:
Associate's/Technical degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call required: 1 weekend (3 days)/month, 1-3 weekday evenings, 12-14 hours (OR 20 min response time, PACU 30 min).

Unit Details:
The unit performs C-sections, hip fracture cases, and minor pediatric cases.
A da Vinci robot is used on the unit.
All team members are responsible for patient transport, room turnover, some sterilization duties, and picking cases.
Resources are minimal.

Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
