Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1590 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 or more years of experience preferred. Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas, including but not limited to transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, titanium rib, and robotics, is highly preferred.

Required Credentials: Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program is required.

Unit Details: The role includes preparing preoperative patients for surgery, including skin preparation, transport to and from the operating room suite, positioning, and biological specimen care. The surgical technologist prepares operating room tables, instruments, and supplies according to the case; establishes the sterile field; and passes instruments and sutures to the physician. Physician preference cards are used to pull cases and set up the operating room and are kept up to date.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend work is required. On-call is required.
