Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Operating room experience and/or training course preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.

Unit Details: Assists with surgical procedures in the operating room, including preparing surgical cases, creating and maintaining a sterile field, and retracting and passing instruments, supplies, and medications during cases. May transport patients according to unit schedules and priorities and provide clerical duties. Uses Cerner.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekday shifts: 0645-1915. Weekend coverage required; weekend shifts are 0700-1900 and 1900-0700. Call required: 1-2 shifts per week, 1915-0645.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
