Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Certificate completion required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate of program completion in Surgical Technology is required.
Unit Details: Procedures include joint cases (no spine), C-sections, general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, podiatry, and endoscopy (EGD and colon polyp screening; no interventional procedures). No robots are used. Surgical technologists support the decontamination room by cleaning instruments and endoscopes. Training is provided, but prior experience is helpful. Staffing ratios are 1:4 teams on days, 1:1 call team on nights, and 1:1 call team on weekends. Pharmacy and phlebotomy support are available; IV and lift teams are not. House supervisor or radiology usually assists with transporting patients.
Shift & Scheduling: The schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekend coverage is required 24/7. On-call is required 24/7. At a minimum, call is required 1 night a week and 1 weekend a month.
Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
