Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience scrubbing trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joint, spine, heart, MI/vascular, GYN, GYN oncology, robotic, general, HPB, bariatric, urology, ENT, eye, pain, and plastic surgery cases is required.
Neuro experience is a hard stop. Must have recent and comprehensive experience with Globus, robotic/navigation, ALIFs, TLIFs, ACDFs, lateral, and posterior/anterior cases.
Sterile technique is required.

Required Credentials:
Educational institute must be accredited by CAAHEP (this is a hard stop).

Special Requests:
RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details:
OR case mix includes trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joint, spine, heart, MI/vascular, GYN, GYN oncology, robotic (three systems), general, HPB, bariatric, urology, ENT, eye, pain, and plastic surgery cases.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation is every 4th weekend; weekend coverage may be a call shift or a scheduled shift, depending on need. Scheduled weekend shifts are typically 7a-7p, and weekend call is either 7a-7p or 7p-7a.
Call is required, averaging 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, with a 45-minute response time; call shifts are 11p-7a, or 7a-7p/7p-7a on weekends.
Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks.
Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
