Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: 3 plus years of inpatient surgery. Must be competent in at least 5 of these service lines: general, gyn, GU, oral, OTO, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine.

Required Credentials: Must have NBSTSA certification; no other surgical tech certification is accepted.

Unit Details: Surgical services include general, gyn, GU, oral, OTO, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.

Shift & Scheduling: Mid 12-hour shifts with start times of 7a, 9a, or 11a. Every 3rd weekend as needed. Every other holiday. One call shift per time period.

Floating Requirements: May float to Moakley OR and other OR campuses if needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
