Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1810 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:
Scrub duties are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:
Completion of a Surgical Technology Program.

Unit Details:
The South Operating Room (Main OR) primarily serves adult inpatients and has a small volume of outpatient procedures; surgical procedures on infants and children less than 18 years of age are also performed.
Cases include cardiac/thoracic; general surgery, minimally invasive, colorectal, and bariatric surgery; gynecology; oral maxillofacial; neuro/neuro spine; orthopedic/orthopedic spine; otolaryngology; plastics; transplant; urology; vascular; robotic procedures (Urology/GYN/Oral); and trauma.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift 1 runs 0645-1915, and Shift 2 runs 1045-2315.
Weekends are required.
On-call is required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
