Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1830 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Demonstrates the ability to maintain a sterile field and ensure environmental safety. - Demonstrates the ability to recognize and address sharps and fire safety processes. - Demonstrates knowledge of surgical services. - Demonstrates knowledge of sterile processing. - Demonstrates the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations. - Has experience in surgery support within the surgical team. - Has experience in life support situations related to surgical care. - Has experience in sterile field management. - Has experience in sterilization processes and requirements. - Has experience in supervision within surgical services (within ORT scope). - 1-year scrubbing experience.

Required Credentials: - One of the following is required: Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program; graduated from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past Six (6) months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam); or Two (2) years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last Three (3) years.

Preferred Credentials: - Active National Certification as an ORT in Surgery.

Special Requests: - Holidays are required unless requested off.

Unit Details: - Ensures the operating room and surgical items meet sterilization criteria. - Prepares the operating room and instruments for surgical procedures. - May assist with sterile processing. - Assists surgeons during procedures while staying within ORT scope of practice. - Assists with room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for the next procedure.

Shift & Scheduling: - Scheduled nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. - No call shifts are required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
