Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Mountain Division.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Burn cases with high-acuity patients mostly from ICU: wound debridement, skin grafting, and dressing changes. Dental: restorations (cavities) and oral maxillofacial procedures. ENT: T&A through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants. Gastroenterology: EGD and colonoscopy. General surgery. Gynecology: ablations and vaginal/abdominal hysterectomies. Neuro: stealth, spinal fusions, discectomy, and craniotomy. Open heart: CABG, fem-pop, and fistulas. Ophthalmology: vitrectomy, cataracts, and corneal transplant. Orthopedics: trauma, total joints, and sports medicine. Plastics: breast augmentation and reconstruction. Psychiatry: electroconvulsive therapy. Robotics: gynecology, general, and urology. Trauma: damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, and general. Urology: cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, and stents.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotate weekend call every four weeks. Call is utilized to fill evening/night staffing holes Monday-Thursday and is evenly distributed among the team. Typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. Every attempt is made to not schedule more than 60 hours of work and call combined in a week.
