Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 24 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years experience - Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required. - Travel experience (at least 1-2 assignments): cannot be first travel assignment.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Neonate & pediatric experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - OR runs 24/7/365. - Weekend cases are mostly urgent, with some scheduled cases. - Service lines include ortho including total joints, OTT; adults and peds; general surgery cases; robotics; organ transplants (kidney); ENT; oral/maxillofacial; vascular/thoracic; urology; pediatrics. - Uses Epic.

Shift & Scheduling: - Team self-schedules for schedule and call. - Dayshift 2x8’s (0700-1530) 2x12’s (0700-1930), days vary, no set schedules, rotate to nights PRN. - 2-3 weekends/6 week schedule. - 5-6 (4-hour) call shifts/6 week schedule (2-3 weekday, 2-3 weekend) average 24 hours max. - Holiday and night rotation as needed by unit. - 1 major, 1 minor holiday based on time of contract.

Floating Requirements: - Float only to IFMC ORs and Woodburn, as needed based on low census.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
