Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year plus Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma with multiple years of experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Must have graduated from an accredited Surg Tech program.

Unit Details: Patient population ranges from outpatient to critical care inpatient. Uses various types of da Vinci robot equipment. Provides direct patient care. Sets up surgical cases across multiple specialty disciplines and provides equipment and supplies based on patient needs and surgeon preference. Maintains a sterile field and performs instrument, sponge, and sharp counts. Serves as a resource for newly hired Surgical Technicians and visiting Surgical Technology students.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shifts are scheduled between 0700-1900. Weekend hours are as required by the facility. Call requirements: Any day scheduled, averaging around 5 or less per 8 weeks. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequencies according to patient requirements.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
