Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2050 per week.

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >45 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be able to do C-sections.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
High preference for orthopedic total joint cases as first scrub.

Unit Details:
The unit averages 15-24 cases per day.
Common cases include heavy orthopedic total joint procedures, GYN/C-sections, urology, spine, ENT, GI, and general surgery; robotics are not used.
The patient population is primarily adults; pediatric cases are limited to tubes and tonsils, with rare appendectomies around age 10.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday-Friday.
Call is required on two Saturdays and two Sundays.
Call response time is 20 minutes.
Holiday call is usually required when a holiday falls during the contract, unless previously approved otherwise.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
