Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Skills/Experience: Endovascular and hybrid room experience. Running wires. Must have broad knowledge of surgical equipment, including Intuitive Surgical Systems XI & SI.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Must be certified as a surgical technologist or military trained. Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Preferred Credentials: ASATT preferred.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee. Please include any requested time off with application for pre-approval.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Adult acute care operating room focused on advanced oncology surgical cases. Specialties include Bariatrics, Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, ENT, OMFS, GYN, General, Colorectal, Urology, Hepatobiliary, Plastics, Eye, Vascular, Thoracic, Organ Harvest, and Endovascular. Open heart and organ transplant cases are not performed.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call required: Weekday call 16 hours every 4 weeks. Weekend call: 24 hours every 4 weeks. Weekend shifts are required in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department needs.
