Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2080 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Skills/Experience: Traveler must be competent and comfortable scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties to support departmental staffing needs.

Required Credentials: Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.

Unit Details: Busy, fast-paced perioperative environment. Primarily assigned to the Main OR. Provides scrub support across multiple service lines, excluding CVOR. Primary assignment will be Spine, with flexibility to work in other specialties as needed. Experienced in scrubbing procedures including Spine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry. CVOR cases are not assigned; CVOR scrub experience is not required.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating call is required. Holiday call is required.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
