Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2160 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience working in a large hospital required.
• Strong general surgical experience, including ENT, orthopedic, and neuro cases, required.
• Experience with robotics required.
• Experience with at least one of the following total replacement systems is required: Zimmer, DePuy, Biomet, or Stryker.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.
• Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details:

• Procedures include orthopedic, plastic surgery, ENT (pediatric and adult), general, and some trauma cases.
• The department averages 75 to 100 cases per day.
• Systems used include Zimmer, DePuy, Biomet, and Stryker total replacement systems.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift may be 8s or 10s.
• May need to stay late as needed; this time is not considered call-back.
• Call is required 1 day per week and every 4 to 6 weekends, with an assigned call rotation.
• When on call or on off shifts, may need to cover cases outside of general surgery.

Floating Requirements:

• Potential to float to other Fargo campuses, including Broadway and SU.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
